1. Service and publisher
i-Futhark is a project by Fabrice Montfort. The website presents the app, its tools and information. Apple distributes the app through the App Store; functions and compatibility depend on the available version.
2. Personal practice
Content supports learning, creation and reflection. Symbolic or assisted readings do not guarantee results or replace medical, legal, financial or other qualified advice.
History, linguistic hypotheses and contemporary interpretations must be distinguished. AI tools can make mistakes. Your interpretation and decisions remain yours.
3. Free access and Premium
Some functions are free; others depend on an active subscription or rewarded advertising. Conditions are shown before the relevant action. Rewards depend on availability and validation of the advertising flow.
Premium offers an ad-free experience, available stone appearances while subscribed and full Journal history. Exclusively Premium stones require active access. Verified reward-category stones, including those granted during a paid period, follow the retention rules shown in the app.
4. Apple subscriptions and purchases
Apple shows price, currency, period, renewal and any commitment before purchase. Monthly and annual plans are distinct. Monthly billing with an annual commitment, if offered, commits you to twelve payments and is not a flexible monthly plan.
Subscriptions renew under Apple’s terms unless cancelled. Your Apple account manages purchases, refunds, renewals and cancellation. Restore purchases lets the app verify available entitlements.
Deleting data or uninstalling i-Futhark does not automatically cancel a subscription. Apple’s standard licensed application agreement applies to the App Store app, alongside these terms where compatible.
5. Content and shared creations
Graphical resources, text and product identity are protected by applicable rights. Downloading the app does not transfer ownership of i-Futhark resources.
The tools let you prepare and share compositions through intended app uses. Check content, rights and any personal elements before sharing. The destination platform’s terms also apply.
6. Availability and local data
Some functions need network access and third-party services. Interruptions, unavailable advertising or temporary content issues may limit service.
The Journal and some creations rely on local storage. Keep useful exports before uninstalling or resetting. Partial preference synchronisation is not a complete backup of all local data.
7. Data and requests
The privacy policy describes data processing and your rights. Account deletion and retrieval of data must be carried out in the app. The contact form lets you ask a question or report a problem; it does not carry out these actions.
Use the publisher’s contact for support. Never send an Apple password, payment card number or identity document without a justified request.
8. Applicable rights and guarantees
Mandatory consumer and data protection rules continue to apply. These terms do not restrict applicable statutory guarantees or rights.
Contact the publisher to seek resolution if a difficulty arises. You retain the remedies and protections available under the rules of your place of residence.
